Highlights...
What was so special aboutt this meeting ?
It was a 5th Tuesday! We try not to miss our 5th Tuesdays!
Among the guests we had AG W1, Satchit, as our GE!
We were also pleased to welcome Eileen Crawley, who has made a comeback to Malaysia & look forward to having her join our club!
In line with the theme of the day "PEACE", IPP, Ranjit Singh, in his INVOCATION, reminded us "Be happy with what you have..." to keep PEACE with yourself...!
TTM, Syamala is known for her thematic topics, and she kept the topics in line with the theme of the day, PEACE...

Topics:
Dont be Jealous...
Accept what you cant change...
Dont hold grudges...
Stay away from negative...
Let bygones be...
Forget the past...
Our guest, Eileen Crawley, was voted as the BEST Table Topics Speaker...
Speeches:
Sai, who was doing only her 3rd speech, is a person who speaks on women's rights!
She is a programme officer with a regional Asia Pacific womens organisation... Her Speech on "ENDING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN" is a constant reminder for us to work towards that for PEACE! Her evaluator had tough time seeing the point...
Uma Narayanan, the latest addition to our club, is someone to watch in action!
She started her Toastmasters Speeches Journey this evening with her Icebreaker!
Her speech "ROLES IN MY LIFE" certainly helped us to know that her passion is badminton. She works as a humanitarian and is an aunt to 7 nephews and 2 nieces.

If you have the time, and if you can catch her from her busy travel schedule, you might see parts of the world through her eyes, and I bet you would be looking forward to visiting...
Watching Uma speak, you would want her to be your mentor! She is witty too!
Its a pity we had only two speakers, hence we did not get to vote best speaker and evaluator...
The GE and his team of evaluators did a splendid 'job'!
Evaluators, Chandran (Table Topics), Maureen & Michelle (speeches) were very encouraging.
Ah Counter, Grammarian & Timekeeper were very thorough!
The GE felt that perhaps the breaks should be longer to have more time to socialise!
